Phases of Engagement Pilot Group

Through a collaboration with multiple missions entities, we've built a framework to better describe gospel progress among people groups and aid field workers in their strategic planning. Before we launch it widely, we need your feedback on what is most helpful and what needs improvement. You can use these tools with one to three people groups you’re familiar with, and, at its simplest, your involvement could be finished with one planning session.  Click here to view the Engagement Scales Toolkit for the full context. Please keep security in mind—share only non-sensitive details.

Step 2:

Answer the following questions to help measure the strength of engagement for the current phase.

This survey is designed to help assess where a specific people group currently stands within the Seven Phases of gospel engagement. Please complete each section as accurately as possible using the most recent data available.

General Guidelines:

- If a church or ministry includes multiple people groups, but does include the assessed group, you should still count it toward the appropriate phase. - Use the most recent and reliable data available. If exact numbers are unknown, provide your best estimate and note the date of last assessment.

Step 3:

Use GAPP software for tracking engagement over the next 3 months.

What is GAPP?
Gospel to All Peoples and Places. GAPP is a tool distributed by Ta Ethni, LLC that allows you to track gospel progress among peoples and places, and assess church/ministry health.
How is GAPP helpful for this test stage?
- Allows us to synthesize the quantitative data and qualitative data for engagement strength and phases of engagement. - Improves efficiency in the tracking process

Would you like access to GAPP at no cost for this pilot?

Using actual mission activity data with the software will provide the most consistent evaluation of phase strength; we encourage its use.
